The Chamber of Commerce Clarence-Rockland fills its position of General Director
Rockland, July 4th 2017- The board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce Clarence-Rockland (CCCR) is happy to announce the nomination of Ms. Karine Lauzon as the new general director. She began her position on July 1st, 2017.
Upon her arrival, Ms. Lauzon had to expand her knowledge throughout the different mandates of the CCCR. To name a few, elaboration of the action plan in a strategic manner, the continued improvement within services for the members, establishing a relationship with our many partners as well as being the communicating source for the Chamber throughout the community.
Recognized for her professionalism and her dynamic personality, Mrs. Lauzon worked for more than 6 years at RGA Basse- Lièvre as the general director. She has developed a variety of communication and marketing strategies for the business community in addition to several business, community, and event partnerships. This has allowed Ms. Lauzon to accomplish many innovative projects, linked to the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan.
“Ms. Lauzon undeniably possesses the qualities required for the position of Director General of the CCCR. She enthusiastically joined the Chamber in contributing to meeting the economic challenges of territory and advancing the interest of its members. Her management capabilities combined with her work experience are assets that will contribute to the progress of the CCCR,” said President Andréa Delorme.

The Chamber of Commerce Clarence-Rockland, who has nearly 150 members, aims to promote the economic, social, political, and cultural development in order to represent the interests of the small, medium and large businesses in the rural and urban areas of the Cité.
